“Survivor” Season 47 is still in full swing, but CBS has announced the newest season of the popular competition series.
The 48th season of “Survivor” is returning this winter, and new contestants will grace the shores of Fiji.
Up to 20 contestants will compete in the wilderness during challenging puzzles and obstacles to win the grand prize of $1 million.
Here is everything you need to know the upcoming season of “Survivor.”
“Survivor” Season 48 will premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025 for a two-hour special.
After the premiere, which runs from 8-10 p.m., the series will return to 90-minute episodes starting the following week.
From Wednesday, March 5, 2025, “Survivor” episodes will run from 8-9:30 p.m.
Once again, Jeff Probst, who has hosted the previous 47 seasons of “Survivor,” will return to host the 48th season.
Probst has won four Emmy awards for hosting the popular reality TV series between 2008-2011. After 13 years of not receiving a nomination, he was nominated again for the award in this year’s Emmy Awards on Sept. 15.
If you have cable, you can watch “Survivor” Season 48 on CBS when it airs on on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m., including the premiere on Feb. 26, 2025.
If you are a cord-cutter or do not have CBS, you can watch “Survivor” live as it airs on a streaming service, like Fubo TV. There is a free trial, along with live TV and a DVR function so viewers can watch it on CBS in real-time or on-demand.
You can also watch the episodes on Paramount+ and DIRECTV Stream as they air live.
